What is the working principle of lubrication grease pump?

Lubricating grease pumps are mainly used to transport lubricating oil in the lubrication systems of various mechanical equipment. The AC lubricating oil pump is installed vertically on the top plate of the main oil tank, sucks oil through the filter at the bottom of the oil pump, and discharges oil to the main oil pump inlet pipe and to the bearing lubricating oil main pipe through the oil cooler. The pump is controlled by a pressure switch and a three-position switch installed in the control room, and a flap check valve is installed at the outlet to prevent oil from flowing back from the system.

The lubrication grease pump is mainly composed of pump body, gear, shaft, bearing, front cover, rear cover, sealing components, coupling and other components. There are two types of shaft end seals: packing seal and mechanical seal.When the meshing gears rotate in the pump body, the gear teeth continuously enter and exit the meshing state. In the suction chamber, the gear teeth gradually exit the meshing state, so that the volume of the suction chamber gradually increases, the pressure decreases, and the liquid enters the suction chamber under the action of the liquid surface pressure and enters the discharge chamber along the gap between the gear teeth. In the discharge chamber, the gear teeth gradually enter the meshing state again, and the gap between the gear teeth is gradually occupied by the gear teeth of a gear. The volume of the discharge chamber decreases, and the pressure of the liquid in the discharge chamber increases, so the liquid is discharged from the discharge port of the pump. The gears continue to rotate, and the above process is continuously carried out, forming a continuous oil delivery process.


Lubrication grease pumps are suitable for centralized lubrication systems of various mechanical equipment, such as equipment in engineering, transportation, machine tools, textiles, light industry, forging and pressing. They have high output pressure and multiple oil outlets to choose from. Each oil outlet can form an independent lubrication system through its own distributor. At the same time, it can also realize the low oil level alarm function to ensure the normal operation and maintenance of the equipment.
