How to choose mold temperature machine

1. Special cases need to be calculated:


A, heater power or freezing power KW = W×△t×C×S/860×T


W= mold weight or cooling water KG


t= the temperature difference between the desired temperature and the starting temperature.


C= specific heat oil (0.5), steel (0.11), water (1), plastic (0.45~0.55)


B, find the size of the pump


Need to know the customer's required pump flow and pressure (head)


P(pressure Kg/cm2)=0.1×H(head M)×α(specific gravity of heat transfer media, water =1, oil =0.7-0.9)


L(media required flow L/min)=Q(mold required heat Kcal/H)/C(media ratio of hot water =1 oil =0.45)×t(temperature difference between circulating media and mold)×α×60


2. Freezer capacity selection


A, Q(freezing quantity Kcal/H)=Q1+Q2


Q1(Heat Kcal/H of raw materials into the mold)=W(weight KG of raw materials injected into the mold per hour)×C×(T1-T2)×S(** coefficient 1.5~2)


T1 temperature of the raw material in the material tube; T2 Temperature when the finished product is taken out of the mold


Q2 Heat generated by hot runner Kcal/H


B, quick calculation method (not applicable to hot runner)


1RT=7~8 OZ1OZ=28.3g(including ** coefficient)


1 rt = 3024 kcal/H = 12000 btu/H = 3.751 KW


1KW=860 Kcal/H1 Kcal=3.97BTU

3, cooling water tower selection =A+B


A, injection molding machine


Cooling water tower RT= injection machine horsepower (HP)×0.75KW×860Kcal×0.4÷3024


B, freezer


Cooling water tower RT= freezer cooling ton (HP)×1.25
